CO 1293–Limited Fungus and Related Perils
Coverage
This endorsement is misnamed because it actually
is introducing an exclusion and then returning a very limited amount of
coverage. It excludes loss from fungus or related perils. This is an absolute
exclusion because it is placed under exclusion 1. This means that even when
fungus or related perils are the result
of another covered cause of loss, the loss due to fungus or related perils
remains excluded.
Coverage for loss caused by fungus or related
perils that result from specified perils is provided on either a blanket or per
location basis. This exclusion also applies to the income coverage so 30
aggregate days is provided for when a covered fungus or related perils loss
causes an interruption.
Either CO 1080–Limited Fungus and Related Perils
